We are pleased to report that our foundation recently attended the National Council for Children’s Therapeutic Institutions 50th Anniversary Symposium, held on March 5, 2026, at the Hibiya Library & Museum.

At this symposium, we were honored to receive a Letter of Appreciation from the National Council for Children’s Therapeutic Institutions in recognition of our ongoing activities.

We are deeply grateful to receive such an honor during this milestone year. We hope that our activities have relieved the suffering of children even a little, but at the same time, as we look to the future and consider what more we can do, this recognition gives us a renewed sense of responsibility. Our ability to devote our full energy to supporting children is made possible entirely by the understanding and generous donations we receive from all of you. We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude once again.

◎What is the National Council for Children’s Therapeutic Institutions?

Established in April 1975 as the National Council of Short-Term Residential Treatment Centers for Emotionally Disturbed Children, this historic organization marked its 50th anniversary in FY2025. It brings together children’s therapeutic institutions from across the country to cooperate in promoting the healthy growth of children and raising the standards of specialized care.

◎What are Children’s Therapeutic Institutions?

These are specialized institutions that provide psychological care and daily life support for children who face difficulties adapting to social life due to psychological or environmental factors. By working closely with families and schools, these institutions help children regain their self-confidence and successfully enter society.

Encouraged by this recognition, we will do our best to come alongside these children and continue supporting their futures.
