Application Guidelines 2025年度 助成団体募集要項

1. Purpose

In a modern society where issues such as abuse and domestic violence are worsening, this foundation provides grants to facilities that protect abused children. Our goal is to ensure the safety and happiness of children and to realize a society free from abuse. This year, we are accepting applications from organizations based on the following guidelines.

2. Eligibility

  • Eligible organizations are limited to children’s therapeutic institutions that were established in accordance with the Child Welfare Act of Japan.

3. Grant Details

  • Limited to a maximum of 1 million yen per facility.
  • There are no specific restrictions on the use of funds.
    (Example usage: purchase of equipment/fixtures, hosting training sessions to improve the skills of the staff who support children, or covering costs for staff to attend external seminars.
    When applying, please clearly describe the intended use and the expected positive impact on the children in your institution.)

4. Selection Criteria

Institutions will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation based on the following criteria:

  • Possessing articles of incorporation and operating actively at present
  • Higher likelihood of successfully completing the project funded by the grant
  • Greater transparency of the project’s accounting and financial management
  • Appropriateness and reasonableness of the budget or price quotes provided
  • Greater need and urgency for the grant

5. Application Period

August 1, 2025 – September 30, 2025

6. Required Documents

Applicants must submit all of the following documents to this foundation:

  1. Grant Application Form (available for download below)
  2. Information regarding the facility requesting the grant (pamphlet, brochure, etc.)
  3. Recent financial statements, business reports, and business plans
  4. Detailed project description, budget, or formal price quotes for the requested funds
  5. Blueprints, photographs, or diagrams related to the project
  6. We may ask you for additional documents or explanations if deemed necessary.

7. Selection and Notification of Results

Applications will be reviewed based on the submitted documents to determine the recipients and the final grant amounts. In the event of a high volume of applications, priority will be given based on the level of necessity and urgency. Approved applicants will be notified in writing, after which funds will be transferred to the designated bank account. Unsuccessful applicants will also be notified of selection results.

8. Compliance

Recipients of the grant must adhere to the following:

  1. A project completion report must be submitted to this foundation within two months of the project’s completion date.
  2. If there are changes to how the grant will be spent, please contact this foundation immediately.
  3. Any unused portion of the grant must be returned to this foundation.
  4. If funds are used for any purposes other than those stated, or if the application contains false information, etc., the grant must be returned in full.

9. Handling of Personal Information

Personal information provided in the application will be used solely for the purpose of administering this grant program, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related regulations.
