Application Guidelines 2026年度 助成団体募集要項
1. Purpose
In a modern society where issues such as abuse and domestic violence are becoming increasingly serious, this foundation provides grants to facilities and related organizations that protect abused children and others, with the aim of ensuring the safety and happiness of children and realizing a society free from abuse. This year, we are accepting applications from organizations based on the following guidelines.
2. Eligibility
The organizations and council eligible for grants from this foundation are as follows:
- Children’s therapeutic institutions established in accordance with the Child Welfare Act of Japan.
- The National Council of Children’s Therapeutic Institutions, consisting of children’s therapeutic institutions established throughout Japan.
3. Grant Details
- Limited to a maximum of 1 million yen per child welfare facility.

There are no specific restrictions on the use of funds.
(For example, the grant may be used not only for the purchase of equipment and fixtures, but also for costs related to holding training sessions to improve the skills of staff who support children, or for staff to attend external training sessions.
When applying, please clearly describe the application details so that the expected benefits for the children can be understood.)
4. Selection Criteria
Institutions and organizations will be selected through a comprehensive evaluation based on the following criteria:
- The organization has established rules or regulations and is actively operating.
- The organization is expected to complete the project covered by the grant.
- The project’s accounting and financial management are clear.
- The budget or quotation details are appropriate.
- The need and urgency for the grant are high.
5. Application Period
August 1, 2026 – September 30, 2026
Please attach the application documents and apply by email.
6. Required Documents
- Grant Application Form (designated format: available for download from the website)
- Budget or quotation for the project requiring the grant
- Drawings, photographs, or other related materials
- Additional documents or explanations may be requested as necessary.
7. Notification Date of Selection Results
December 4, 2026 (notification by email)
Applications will be reviewed based on the submitted documents, and the grant recipients and grant amounts will be determined.
In the event of a high volume of applications, priority will be given to projects with higher necessity and urgency.
8. Grant Transfer Date
December 15, 2026
After the grant has been approved, the grant will be transferred to the designated bank account.
9. Compliance
Recipients of the grant must adhere to the following:
- A Grant Project Report must be submitted to this foundation within two months from the date the grant project is completed.
- If there are changes to how the grant will be used, please contact this foundation promptly.
- Any surplus grant funds must be returned.
- If the grant is used for purposes other than those approved, or if the application contains false information, the grant must be returned.
10. Handling of Personal Information
Personal information provided in the Grant Application Form will be used solely for the purpose of administering this grant program, in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations.
